Resources for Pregnant Women Considering Adoption, I'm Pregnant What Do I Do?
Coming to the decision to place your child with an adoptive family is an extremely personal journey. Each birthparent must go through her/his own process and the emotional impact of that process is considerable. It is not a decision anyone should enter into lightly. Emotional and psychological support is crucial while the decision is being made, at the time of placement, and for as long as there is a need. For some birthparents, there is a lifelong desire to connect with other birthparents who understand the feelings they have.
We hope that the resources listed here will help women and men considering placing their child for adoption as well as birthparents who have already made that choice and want to connect with others who have done the same.
