We actually began the adoption process with another agency and soon became very displeased with their service. One day I met someone who had adopted a child thru Children's House International and she referred us to Stefani. I contacted them the same week and we soon started the adoption process all over again. This time it was different. Stefani and Charlene have been so wonderful in all aspects of the adoption process. I have already completed one adoption with CHI and have a very wonderful 4 year old girl. I got her when she was just two (and only 19 lbs.!) I give much thanks to Stefani and Stephen who are almost like a heroine and hero to me because of their incredible support for me and my daughter. Charlene is amazing! How many other agencies contact the orphanages directly to get or give progress reports on your child? Not any I know of to the extent Charlene does! I know of several times she has contacted the orphanage where my daughter was. We are so lucky!     Jane H. UT

Throughout the entire adoption process there is great support - emotional, dossier completion, a CHI specific Internet support group of parents in all stages of adoption, etc. Even while you are traveling in China with your new child, both Stefani (via phone or email) and the guides are willing and able to help with questions, concerns or problems.
