This Family Has Adopted We've been happily married for thirteen years and we always wanted to have children. Since we adopted Sam at birth in November 1993, our lives have been filled with joy and contentment. We are so happy being parents that we want to adopt again and have another wonderful little person to complete our family. We hope you will read a little about us and consider our family as you look for the best place for your baby to grow up.

Christine is cheerful, outgoing and enthusiastic. She's also a great cook and gardener. Christine feels strongly that a close family is very important and she nurtures her family's strength. Her mom lives in San Francisco and is an active member of the family. Jerry loves Christine's sparkle and the way Christine makes every holiday a family celebration with decorations, flowers and wonderful food. Sam loves to help decorate and cook.

Christine has a masters degree in early childhood education and knows how to nurture and support Sam's development. She is a loving, patient and fun mom. She and Sam swim together, play "pretend," legos or other games every night and end each day with bedtime storeis. Her job is very flexible and only 15 minutes away from home. Christine has been to every one of Sam's doctor and dentist appointments and can take time to cheer Sam on in his swimming and acrobatics classes.

Jerry is smart, warm and affectionate. Christine loves his sense of humor and his total commitment to his family. He is a rock of stability and love. Jerry loves his work as an environmental lawyer, reading, sports, hiking and all kinds of music. He's been a very involved dad since he began changing Sam's diapers. Jerry shares his interests with Sam as he grows, including taking him to a special children's music class. They read together, roughhouse and build castles and skyscrapers with Sam's blocks. The whole family enjoys "adventures" to Golden Gate park, the zoo, the children's discovery museum and the beach. Sam is a happy, outgoing and active boy who loves fire trucks, construction and climbing everything. He's also very talkative and curious about how things work. His preschool teacher says he is a natural leader in his class who looks out for the other children. Sam is excited about having a new brother or sister to play with and love.

Raising Sam has opened our hearts more than we dreamed possible, and another child will only add to our happiness. We have the energy and the financial security for a second child, another son or a daughter. Our children will have every opportunity, the best education and loving parents who will raise them to be happy, confident and good people.
