Eastern European Adoption Coalition
The EEAC serves the needs of families adopting children from Eastern Europe by offering, free of charge: (1) A Website with information and articles of interest to all EE pre-adoptive and post-adoptive families; (2) An Agency Registry of hundreds of volunteer families who provide information to prospective adopting families; (3) Mailing Lists specifically for families adopting from the countries of Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Ukraine. We also maintain the PEP-L list for post-adoption support and issues, WEECARE-L for families with children with prenatal exposure to alcohol or drugs, and SEEA-L for single adoptive parents.
FRUA, INC (Families for Russian and Ukrainian Adoption, Including Neighboring Countries)
Hope, Help and Community for Adoptive Families. Chapters across the US and members around the world. Provides international adoption support resources for families who have adopted, or are waiting to adopt, from Eastern European or Central Asia (ex-Soviet republics & bloc countries) including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Romania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Albania, Estonia, Moldova, and Slovakia. Offers family and adoption education resources and a supportive community that nurtures adopted children and supports parents and families. FRUA is not an adoption agency nor do they place children.
Kazakh Adoptive Families
This site was created by an adoptive mom to serve as a resource for those interested in Kazakhstan and adopting from there. Includes links to sites about Kazakhstan, information about travel, personal adoption stories, and adoption resources and information.
KMC Adoption Support Group
he KMC Adoption Support Group is comprised of adoptive parents, prospective adoptive parents, and other adults interested in the support of adoption in our American community overseas. Most of the Support Group members are either adopted themselves, have adopted children, are currently in the process of adopting, are contemplating adoption, or are interested in assisting adoption efforts in Europe.
