My pal, Nikki, invited me to a party. I went in to find this most extraordinary looking woman standing by the fridge. I couldn't help but notice her. She looked absolutely stunning in a shimmery outfit, slim, big brown eyes, great teeth, prize-winning smile and pretty with a laugh that you don't forget in a hurry. We spent weeks talking on the phone, met once more and fell in love. Just like that. If I had my time again, the only thing I would change is I would have liked to have met her earlier.

Victoria is my best friend, which I know is corny but it's the truth, so I am a little biased. Victoria is very bright (she passed her university degree in Psychology - with a dissertation on Adoption - with flying colours), is very practical (she has completely remodelled the house beautifully) and is quite simply the kindest person I have ever met in my life. Victoria knows this because I have told her many times before.

Victoria loves tennis and plays at the local courts. She has been doing voluntary work with children as a Brownie Guider and a Classroom Assistant and really enjoyed the experience but is now concentrating on getting our home ready for our new arrival.

We've got the resources (financial, excellent local schools, support network, prior knowledge of adoption and we've both got unlimited time) and the single kindest person in the world as a prospective mother to your child. She will make a wonderful mother to your child.
