We love our city - we both moved here many years ago from where we each grew up in northeastern suburbs. Our city is one of the most diverse places in the U.S., with people coming here from all over the world...we love to walk all around our city, visiting different neighborhoods, and taking Benjamin to the many parks and playgrounds, and, especially in the summer, to the many free concerts, puppet shows, and programs for children. There is always something new to see; something new to learn...

We feel lucky to live in a city with people who come from everywhere who are part of many different religions, cultures, races and ethnicities. We have friends who celebrate a variety of holidays and traditions. We plan to share in this multiculturalism with our children.

We live in a beautiful two bedroom coop apartment in a family-friendly and safe neighborhood of a large city, in a building filled with families and young children. Our building has an elementary school on one side and a playground on the other. We also live in walking distance of many other parks, playgrounds, schools and museums. Our city is a great place for raising children, as there are many, many schools, libraries, classes, programs, shows, concerts and activities geared for young children and families.
