Gender: Boy Age: 4 Country: Haiti Description: Jephte (jeff-tay) Espoir was found by the orphanage director in front of the hospital while she was there picking up other children. He was admitted to Notre Maison 11/07/2007. He was severely malnourished and has grown wonderfully since being cared for and fed at Notre Maison. He is physically normal but may be mildly mentally impaired. Jephte' does not talk yet, but displays emotions appropriately. He attends kindergarden (USA preschool) at Notre Maison. Jephte' plays well with the other children. He has medical records and is HIV and TB negative. He plays well with other children and seems happy.
