Gender: Boy Age: 9 Country: Haiti Description: Esperance was found wondering by himself, eating out of the garbage. He was admitted to Notre Maison Orphanage in Port au Prince in June, 2009. Esperance is mentally impaired and has severe digestive issues. He will eat absolutely anything therefore he needs to be watched all the time. He is on a couple different medications for his stomach and has shown a little improvement. He does not speak but screams for food. He does reach out to people sometimes. No medical records yet.
