    The Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation (CABF) is a parent-led, not-for-profit, web-based membership organization. CABF was founded by a national steering committee of concerned parents active in BPParents, an Internet support group. CABF incorporated in California on June 16, 1999, and received its IRS tax-exempt status on August 18, 1999. This on-line community includes parents, researchers, medical doctors, neuroscientists, social workers, therapists, civic leaders, teachers, and others.
