Hi, I’m Annie—a mom of four, including two through adoption. I created these Birthday Interview Cards out of a desire to keep a strong, loving connection with my daughters’ birth moms. Each year, filling out these cards has become a treasured tradition—one that brings joy, sparks conversations, and reminds us all how deeply connected we really are. I knew if this small act meant so much in our story, it could mean a lot to other adoptive families too.

I offer a thoughtfully designed set of 18 Birthday Interview Cards, created especially for adoptive families to send yearly updates to birth moms. Each 5x7 card corresponds to a different age—from year one through eighteen—and comes with a coordinating envelope, all packaged in a sweet keepsake box to keep everything organized.

These cards are meant to be filled out by your child each year. When they’re little, parents can help write in the answers—recording silly responses, favorite toys, or sweet memories. As they grow, the child begins to write their own answers, share their thoughts, and express their personality in their own words.
